About the Creator
My name is Cameron Allaer. I'm 22 years old, and I've been developing Battle Of Skill for the last 9 years, on and off. The past 4 years of my life, at college, I put most of my passion into making BOS the best it could be, while keeping up with schoolwork. I attend Florida Polytechnic University, where I'm studying Computer Science with a specialty in Cyber Security. I spend my free time theorizing about BOS, playing Super Smash Brothers, or hanging out with my roommates and friends. BOS originally was a game centered around 2 key points: No luck, and infinite looping combos. Yup, the original game was completely broken. At the time, it was called "Loop." But I knew that I could make a trading card game with no luck in it if I tried hard enough. Let's just say it took longer than I thought! It has been quite the ride since I started this project, and it has gone through many, many iterations. In fact, boss monsters themselves didn't exist until the 5th year of development, and it was an idea that was developed with the help of my roommate John! The game's name changed to "Boss", and was later changed to BOS (Short for Battle Of Skill) at the request of another friend, Deb. So many inspirations were taken from other card games, but even more were taken from my friends who have helped me along the way. I wouldn't be where I am without their help.
My goal with the game is to use the profits from the game to not only fuel further expansions of the game, but to also donate as much money as possible to charity. I really hope to be as personal as I can with my community, and I expect to stream very often once the game is in full swing.
